Technical regulation

The technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the technical regulations of the Republic of Belarus:

  • Developed only for the products included in the unified list of products for which the mandatory requirements are specified within the EAEU.
  • Establish mandatory requirements for products and manufacturing processes, rules for identification, forms, charts and conformity assessment procedures.
  • Developed on the basis of EU Regulations and Directives, International and European standards, advanced technical regulations and standards of other countries.
  • May include general requirements (terminology, packaging, labelling, sanitary, veterinary-sanitary, quarantine and phytosanitary measures), specific requirements (associated with climatic and geographical factors or technological features) and special requirements (providing protection of certain categories of citizens).
