National accreditation system

Belarusian State Accreditation Center (BSCA) is the accreditation body that has operated in the Republic of Belarus since 2010.

The activities of the BSCA comply with the rules of international organizations (ILAC, IAF), and the requirements of governmental standards identical to the international standards ISO/IEC 17000 series.

  • 70 products and services certification bodies ISO/IEC 17065
  • 39 management systems certification bodies ISO/IEC 17021
  • 6 personnel certification bodies ISO/IEC 17024
  • 3 inspection bodies ISO/IEC 17020
  • 2558 testing laboratories ISO/IEC 17025
  • 230 calibration/verification laboratories ISO/IEC 17025

International cooperation in the European Union:

  • Since 2011 the BSCA is an associate member of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA).
  • 18-22 January, 2016 – preliminary assessment of the NAS of the Republic of Belarus by the EA.
  • 20-24 November, 2017 – peer assessment of the NAS of the Republic of Belarus by the EA.
  • The BSCA continues works on accession to the Bilateral agreement on recognition EA BLA.

International cooperation on the international level:

  • BSCA was accepted as a member of the International Accreditation Forum on 11 September 2015. Work on the accession to the IAF MLA Multilateral Mutual Recognition Agreement is in progress.
  • BSCA is the associated member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation since. Work on the accession to the Multilateral Mutual Recognition Agreement is in progress.

Memoranda of understanding/cooperation agreements for the development of interaction in the field of accreditation were signed with the accreditation bodies of 27 countries.
